Buying a house - The stats

Just for fun and informational purposes, here are all the stats and info on the house I am buying. The house is located in Ontario, Canada, less than an hour from Toronto. Let me know if I have forgotten anything, or if you have any other questions.

4 bedroom semi on a 50′ x 150′ lot.
4 car parking
Fridge, Stove, Washer, Dryer, Freezer and water softener included.
Central Air

Asking Price: $219K
Price Accepted: $212K
Deposit Paid: $1K
Land Transfer Tax :$1875
Yearly Tax: $2300
House Insurance per Year: $500
House Inspection Cost: $340
Current Interest Rate: 5.74% lock in for 5 years, but will go down if banks lower it before closing.
Bi-Weekly Payments: $550
Downpayment: $10,600 (5%)

      dang, houses are a lot cheaper than here in california! the lowest house in the area i live in is like 4-500k! and tahts only a 1 story house :/ Maybe i should move to candada too! ;o

      thats a pretty good deal for the size of that house. hopefully its a nice area :O Dang, i cant wait to move into a house of my own but i wont be looking forward to all those costs. :/

      What city is that is? I just sold my house outside the GTA and it sold for a lot more than that :)

      Yes, it is a very nice area. It was a rental house and the landlord was selling off all of there property to retire. The people that were living there would only agree to let it be shown for 3 hours on saturdays so they were having trouble selling it.

      I think that is why they let it go for cheap as similar places in the same area are going for much higher. Hopefully this is a good investment and I can’t wait to move in!
