Hi my name is Bryan... I went to a flight training school that turned out to be a fraud like many other tech schools (high cost, crappy training, money up front, then over a contract issue told 5 of us we were no longer accepted due to a employment contract we didn't sign and couldn't complete our training)... they still owe me 20,000 and my student loans are a little over 80,000$... between two loans the first, with 11% interest, and the second with 9%..... I'm paying about 300$ a month and when the second loan kicks in, and payments become due, I'll be paying around a 1000$ a month. I'm at a stage in my training (which costs ridiculous amounts i.e. 100-300 hr) where I can't qualify for any job in the industry (professional pilot) and can't afford more than am already paying for the current loans that I paying and certainly not when the other loan kicks in sooooooooo...... any suggestions..... My loans cause me soo much stress and anxiety its almost crippling as I'm only 21 and really have no skills besides a few licenses obtained while training but I'd still need minimum of another 7,000-10,000 to complete the training and after the horrible experience and the financial scarring I don't really know if i wanna go though with it or go to regular school and do something else that i could obtain I'm soo soo confused and my parents aren't any kind of a financial net so to speak nor do they have there educations and struggle to survive themselves.... I thought I was going to better myself and I feel like I've just been cheated....(trying not to be bitter) I don't really do horrible in school nor do I excel academically in anything. I'm usually a mess trying to come up with, what my next move will be... bankruptcy's not an option as I'm sure you all know and I'm already involved in a class action law suit with four other students that are in same situation but it won't see court for years and by then I'd just be paying off accumulated interest.... (thanks to our amazing judicial system;) any help would be amazing.....

All I can say is congratulation.

Paying off your loan is a huge accomplishment. The keys of your success are discipline, faith and clear vision on goal.

Even if you have repaid all of your debt, keep these strong values in your life. Instead of paying for debt, start saving.

In just a few years you'll have a sizable fund for an investment.
