I am soaking wet
At least I was this morning when I stepped out of the shower. You know what I did before I got into the shower? I weighed myself. I was at 219.2 pounds, totally naked. Then after I got out, I remembered the old saying “He barely weighs “insert number” soaking wet. So I stepped on the scale again while soaking wet and I was at 219.8 pounds.
My body holds 0.6 pounds of water while totally soaked!
I know you wanted to know this… maybe next time if you are lucky I will review a pen, or give you some tips on getting dressed in the morning!

I would like to asked if you have clothes with you when you weighed yourself?. I think because of the presence of water in your body your weighed adds up to your normal weight.

That is really wierd. A first A half pound of water seemed like alot but I guess it makes sense. It would be interesting to weigh the towel while it is dry and then when it is wet.

Or maybe you swallowed some water in the process

haha, thanks for that info, i’m going to see if i can hold more water than you. I’d really love some tips about getting dressed in the morning too b/c i can’t find an easy way to get my dress socks on - they’re just too tight.

Just to clarify to those who are wondering, I was not wearing any clothes at either of the weigh-ins.
I will think about writing a manual on getting dressed in the morning, right after I finish my sharpening a pencil tutorial…

Will the tutorial highlight the mechanical pencil sharpener or one of the manual ones - the portable/packable ‘pinch-twist shaver’ or the ‘wall supported cranker’?

0.6 isn’t so bad, just for taking a shower. I’m up around 20 pounds since I quit smoking.

Thats very interesting information! Now imagine how much more a female would weigh soaking wet…especially one with long hair! Probably as much as the wet towel!!

I think that when soaking with water you can gain wieght considering that our body is made up of water and it is not unusual if we gain weight after we got from shower considering that there are still some residue of water left from our body.

That’s really funny. I haven’t try anything like that before. Maybe I do it later today after I got into the shower.

LOL. That’s funny. That’s a lot less than you would think, I would expect a lot more weight to be added on.

Ummm, that’s more information than I wanted to know.

I think you weight more in what your actual weight because after bathing our skin tends to absorb water and surely you will gain more weight because of it.
