Mr. Wizard passes away at 89

Filed under: Ramblings — Jason @ 3:45 pm

I know this is completely off topic, but I really liked Mr. Wizard. I know most of you think I am awesome and cool but when I was a kid I was a bit of a science geek. Shock and Awe is your current expression I am sure.

Mr. Wizard was great. Not only did he teach us all about science, but he did it using things that most of us had around the home so we could do the experiments ourselves. Anyway, I just thought he deserved a mention here. You can go view a much more detailed story about it here.

It made me stop and mourn a little bit when I saw the headline as well. When you lose a cultural icon, you stop and really see the passing of time.
